Muscleheart hates beets. He had been seriously thinking about decapitating the smirking beet lover -- who wanted to cut off Blackfeather's tap -- himself.

That was me again. Can't seem to remember to log on when I first wake up and check for a new Elf.

My mistake. I guess that was Killemall, not Muscleheart. Will have to start reading that.

Both strips are full of awesome!

Yes!

Heh. You can't go to Elfworld (does the overall world HAVE a name?) without being black and white. It's the law.

Obviously my thought too, Mayyday!

I'm curious if maybe Killemall might make a cameo in a future Elf strip, like Berht and Uhrneigh did.

It is a B&W world, indeed. I don't really have a name for the land itself yet but I'm sure more names of specific places, great and small, will crop up on a need to name basis as the story continues.

Killemall and Mayy... cameo? Hmm... not a bad idea.

Killemall fits into this world WAY more seamlessly than Mayy. You'd have to 'D&D' Mayy up a bit for her to not stick out like a sore thumb.

Mayy would need to change clothes... maybe tweak her hairstyle a bit and then she'd be all good.

But if Killemall were in a episode that was colorized, he would need to be too, in the appropriate, time consuming "2D" style. I'm not sure we'd still recognize him after that, but it might throw the Grell off. And a 2D colorized Killemall might have been luck scoring some of Martha Stewart's magnificent pot.

He would indeed. I did my best to imitate Songgu's style for my strip. It's a *whole* different type of shading and I was basically learning as I went.

GAH! Now I want to make a Muscleheart guest strip, but then I'd have to make a Mayy action figure and WHY AREN'T THERE MORE HOURS IN THE DAY?!

Great idea. Maybe there will be Elf or Mayy action figures in time for the next Thanksgiving episode, and this could all come full circle then with a visit to the Muscleheart world. If you have access to a 3D printer, it's apparently relatively easy now to create a prototype. But I think the prototype would need to be painted by hand. And since there are no 3D originals of the Elf or Mayy characters, 3D CAD files would need to be created first. There may already be a market for Elf action figures sold as generic fighters, thieves, Elves, etc. to fantasy RPG fans with no familiarity with the comic.

I would buy a Blackfeather action figure/statue/tabletop mini/etc in a heartbeat. Do you hear me, Songgu?! IN. A. HEARTBEAT.

Metal miniatures of some of the characters are definitely part of the long term plan! :)

There are folks out there that will make custom action figures...but they aren't cheap! And a Killemall figure would be so cool. Wait a minute...

You could cut costs by making your own CAD files, and painting your own figures. Or you could get the right people interested in Elf characters. Maybe Elf book sales, or positive reviews, could get the attention of people who already mass produce and market FRPG figurines.

Blackfeather, BTW, should give Killemall another chance. She might give him a second glance ff he were flattened out and colorized.

I'm thinking high quality limited run pricey little thingys.

Killemall would fit in pretty seamlessly, actually.

Maybe they could visit the Muscleheart world in time for an Elf Christmas Special.

If Killemall did make an appearance in the Elf world, he wound need to find a funny man there to complement his straight man role. Not that Elf hasn't been funny at times.
