I'll color it later. I'm debating whether I should do the "hell" panels in color or not. I feel like the B&W and color thing is becoming all too common. I think I'll just stick with gray tones for this one. I welcome any opinions on this matter.
Oh I get it, having the contents of the backpack of holding manifest in the heads of the damned is a form of punishment! phew, it all makes sense now, but I had to think about that for a while. At first I thought that last panel was just whacked.
The anal torture is creative and looks painful indeed. some of the other characters I can't figure out though...
Lol.
Interesting reference! The Bosch painting in question was copied by art students a long time ago and has been in display in front of the locker room at my school ever since. I almost know the thing by heart!
If you're going to show bats flying out of someone's butt, making it part of a high-brow allusion helps keep it classy. This particular bag could be a portable fridge if hell got uncomfortably cold.
In one of my games back in the day, I had a player grab the lid of his bag of holding, and then jump inside, you know, to hide from an owlbear. But I, as the Dungeon Master, decided that he caused 4th dimensional vortex. I wanted a gate to the 9 Hells to open, he was attempting to convince me the result would be a tesseract that he would be stuck inside of instead. In the end, we settled on the bag of holding to wink out of existence and all his heaps of stuff suddenly winked into existence and buried everyone. man was that a good hour interruption of the game to try to figure out what that would do. Thoughts?
Woah. Dat all sounds way too complimacated and scientifical. I've thought about what might happen if one actually completely entered a bag of holding and closed it.
My concern would be whether an object or entity within the bag is affected by time as it occurs in our dimension. If for example, time stands still inside the bag, you wouldn't even need refrigeration to keep food fresh.
"If living creatures are placed within the bag, they can survive for up to 10 minutes, after which time they suffocate.
....If a portable hole is placed within a bag of holding, it opens a gate to the Astral Plane: The hole, the bag, and any creatures within a 10-foot radius are drawn there, destroying the portable hole and bag of holding in the process."

Further proof that a bag of holding should never be thought of lightly!
