As bob watched the arrow approach, he wished he'd gone for the popcorn option.

Well I'd have to say that was the most fruitless and self-destructive adventure campaign ever!
They all killed each other!
Well, at least Druuga is still alive so we can get some answers... but Bob! You Frickin killed Bob man!!!!!
I hate you!!!
Bob was cute, and funny, and witty, and creative etc.
Druuga better be just a cool damnit!

Aegon got 'im, all right.

We'll all miss Bob.

Dark revenge thoughts glinting in Katagnar's crazy eyes in that last panel, I'd guess!

I KNEW IT, it was the only illusion to react to an arrow. Shit man... that speaks well of the little fellow, he used his own body as an illusion.

Oh no...Bob...?

Smart, final move on Aegon's part. If you can't shoot all the illusions, shoot the illusionist. If Aegon had lived a little longer, he would have had a clear shot at Druuga.

Is Katagnar crying because of a wounded pride -- having lost a duel -- or a wounded knee? Or because Bob won't be around to indulge Katagnar's fowl fantasies anymore?

Katagnar is actually sweating, though on the inside he might be crying a little bit.

Sweat beads on a character's face in comics is shorthand for intense mental or physical experiences... such as fear, anxiety, concentration, embarrassment, exertion, etc.

In this case, it's supposed to signal a combination of embarrassment, anger, and shock at having been bested. His ego is huge so this comes as a big blow. Oh, and physical pain. He got more than a little scratch on his knee!

That wound was vicious alright.

Katagnar is one tough hombre, but pride can be pretty fragile.

I've noticed that success & fame can sometimes have a rather toxic effect on the psyche. The greater the pride, the more fragile it becomes.

Katagnar will have to figure out a way to redeem himself. Feel sorry for him a bit, as he has discovered his own Don Quixote complex. He's been bested and duped.

Very cool how the mystery of all this is yet to be revealed!!!!
