Good art, as usual. Nice staging, even better. Kids look like hobbits, still nice. Monty Python reference...tremendous! (of course I'm a big fan or theirs). At least it wasn't the execution mentioned in the Rome portion of History of the World Pt 1!
Damn! They must have had their own version of the Patriot Act back then! Pieter can't even get due process! The world hasn't changed much at all!
And what kind of monster could slaughter an entire family of innocents like that!?! Just look at the ginormous eyeballs on those kids! They could stop anyone cold!
Aww come on Lord Steward, the best Pieter the Idle can do with a hammer is flatten his own thumb! And with a knife, well, he's sure too handy, so he'd need only one stab, not seven. Also, just in case that he will be condemned anyways, please don't forget that torture usually is considered part of the eventual punishment. ... And I did totally not pay the headsman to slip and kill him quickly, who would I be to disappoint a raging mob?
But you've got to apply for some "executive" position then. :D
It's actually a Spanish Inquisition garb (I forgot its specific use and meaning). Executioners didn't wear the stereotypical black hood in general, they just had clothes that made them easily recognizable among townsfolk. And they could never had played D&D, because they weren't permitted to sit on one table with other people. (Considering that, applying in that garb may not be such a good idea.)

And those kids may look familiar to some.
It's been exactly a year and nobody has noticed it yet?
You are going to have to put out a Director's Cut with Commentary.
Needs a good lawyer, if you ask me.
Great faces and clothing, as always. :)
Also, your rendering of the executioner with the black hood makes me want to make my own costume. Imagine going into a job interview with that get-up?

The pointy hat was originally conceived to make the wearer look silly. And you know what? It still works. :)
Thanks for the link!
