Hehee, love the D&D talk.

And see there. Is that our dear attorney of the law in the group around Grandma?

Being the best attorney in the land gets you invited to the best parties, I suppose. He's in the background in one of the previous pages way back. ;)

Plus Grandma needs legal council for all her wheeling & dealing.

Pieter is on a roll. Everyone lost their shirts to him.

Hmm... it certainly appears that way. This may serve as an accidentally effective context for those non RPG readers. Score!

never in my life have I gotten two critical hits in one roll. Man. I don't even get two twenties with my vision!

Me neither. In fact, I'm not sure if I've ever witnessed anyone else ever achieve it either... though I feel like it's happened once. I wonder what the statistical probability of rolling two 20's is?

1 in 400 I believe. I've actually seen it happen twice in the last year!

My group's ranger (rather, the player) is among the few lucky guys who can roll up 13 critical hits (AD&D, so only 20 is a crit, at 3 attacks per round) in one fight of less than seven rounds.
And we did force him to use the DM's dice after the first round. :)

I've definitely noticed that dice rolling does not produce truly random results. People are able to control them to varying degrees either physically or mentally.

I've seen plenty of instances of friends who "willed" high rolls when the going got tough. It's mind over matter shenanigans, I tell ya!

It's nice to see a pair of icosahedrons on the gaming table.

It is a thing of beauty, no? I think once you start getting into 30-sided + shapes, they just start looking like low res spheres.

I use the disdyakis triacontahedron to roll my charisma and comeliness attributes.

Hey, that's cheating. Wouldn't it suck if you did get one shot at rolling your comeliness with a 120-sider and rolled something like 3? It could happen.

On the other hand, a character with a 100+ charisma/comeliness would cause all kinds of problems for the DM.

I have to say Feingor is awesome. Like an evil Alan Dershowitz... well, like an Alan Dershowitz for the prosecution.

Damn, that guy's had one hell of a career! I kind of like Feingor myself... even if he is Lawful Evil.
