Well, that's it... for now. Elf will now go into hiatus for several months as I complete production on the printed book, cards, prints, etc.

In addition to the extra content already mentioned, the book will feature a six page epilog. ;) I'll keep you apprised of developments here on the comic site.

You guys have kept me going these past three years with your interest and support. Thank you all for reading and commenting!

Aw nooo! When Gladys showed up, I kinda hoped that there would be more connection between the "two worlds". (Which still might be. After all, medieval world-views, nowadays called superstition, and nekkid tree ladies in court aren't impossible.) And I spot a beheaded man's face there.

Did I say I can't wait for the book? Ohgods the impatience. But seriously, let it be be done when it's done. :)

Thank you so much for this wacky and glorious adventure!

My goal is to finish everything in about a month! And then the rather long printing & shipping process begins.

Wait, what beheaded man's face???

Oops, might be I was wrong; the nose of the guy with the long light hair behind Skuli and Molder has a hook to it that wouldn't really match Aegon's.
Anyways, that guy reminds me of him. :)

Damn it! We were all part of a humongous psychological experiment! And I fell for it hook line and sinker!!!
Oh well, at least it was enjoyable...extremely enjoyable.
I wish all psychological experiments were this enjoyable!
OK! OK!
It was a masterpiece!
I wonder if this will make its way on to the Cartoon Network?
P.S.
I hope you can post some progress updates here about the book every know and then Songgu. That would be nifty.
...
Thanks for the ride!!!

Noooooo! I have to say those people are pretty skeptical considering a giant naked tree lady walked into court and there are roving bands of goblins and giants and old school orcs all about. I guess they must all steer clear of human civilization... or most of that stuff just happens around Blackfeather. Either way I can't wait for the epilogue now. I want to believe that Pieter is still alive somehow. Also, I can't believe we came to care so much for a character who was really only there for his bag of holding haha.

People in the dark ages imagined a world just outside of their own settled lands as strange places populated with strange and fantastic creatures. But even then, I'm sure there were plenty of skeptics.

I imagine human societies in the world of Elf as being on the most part, pretty insular in their small pockets of towns and villages, while monsters and enchanted creatures roam the great expanse beyond.

As for the fate of the man with the bag of holding... look for clues in the following panels:

#162 panel 4
#164 panel 1
#165 panel 4 & 6
#166 panel 1

I look forward to the time when you will be reading the epilog. ;)

It's a great comic. I wasn't able to contribute to the kickstarter, but I will be buying the book when it's for sale!

You inspire me to make my work better every time I draw.

Hi there, stumbled across your comic and really enjoyed it (and posted it on FB for like minded friends). Loved the old DandD and ADandD references and sense of humour and art in general. Funnily enough I often enjoyed your sketches and "filler" more than the comic, but thats not a diss on the comic, I just love concept art (fellow artist myself).

Thanks, Robert! I really like the flexibility of being able to post "filler" stuff. It's a great way to... well, fill the site with placeholders, while broadening the comic reading experience peripherally. :)
