Okay, so I realize this week's comic is mostly a bummer and not funny... but wait!

If I may direct your attention to panel 3, you'll note a little fellow with his tiny junk hanging out. And his friend has testicles on his head and his other friend looks like HITLER. Hey, now if that's not comedy, I don't know what is. Ahem. O_O

Oh, so the mask is a part of him now?

I get it now!

The party hasn't been going on long, its just the wine he is serving is his vitality, the more he pours the older & feebler he gets.

This comic clearly illustrates why unions are important. If he and others were able to form a Wine Servers Union they could at least fight for better working conditions and some kind of retirement plan.

Ah, good art history eye! Manet's contemporary subjects were posed as in Raphael's drawing of a mythological scene and now I reference his painting to depict a mythological scene once again. Slightly ironic, no? Ah oui!

...and you do so within the zeitgeist of the online comic. Dammit man! Where were you when I needed a theme for my art history thesis?

Great artwork even though I don't understand what is going on in the story.

They were going to Grandma's house when they detected a chimera tracking a party of haflings, (one of whom was killed and reincarnated as a catepillar,) but got distracted by something shiny in a cave, leading to the Battle of Monkey Butts, after which only Pieter made it to Grandma Vagina Tree's orgy where he facialed Katagnar, the hypocritical leader of MWASOD.

Try to keep up.

Good recap. I read it with a manly TV announcer's voice and it works pretty good. "Previously on Elf... They were going to grandma's house when..."

Keep the Saturn in Saturnalia.

They should bring Saturnalia back! Except we don't have slaves anymore so employees would become bosses and children would become parents, and so forth for at least a day. And everyone would drink and be merry. Even the children.

Notice how it is only the male's (minus the Wine Boy) who are laughing in the first panel?
