Heh, looks like dad got in a say first. My money was on Durgovaar intervening first. Of course "intense look" guy totally had more than that coming. ;-)

A man of honor surrounded by honorless scum. Hail, Durgo.

Cut off her what?
Toes? Tongue? Tips of her Fingers? Tutu? Tonsils? Termites? Ticks? Tassels? Tails? Tickle Monster? Tasty Bread? I'm curious! He clearly wanted to help her by cutting off something she could easily do without. (In all honesty, never thought I'd be saying this, but thanks goodness for Durgo!)

Toenails? Maybe she needs a pedicure and he was being helpful? :-)

Oi! That was a close one... I didn't think Durgo had it in him to intervene, especially when there was Tasty Bread to be had!

Looks like the grinning man has savored his last tasty turnip. That's what you get for trying to cut off someone's tap water.

Durgo's rehabilitation resumes, as though Durgo & Sons were still being prepped for incorporation into Blackfeather's party (replacing Clarence?). But if Blackfeather follows through on killing one of those sons, surely that would frustrate any plans for a merger.

It would be out of character for Blackfeather to abandon Clarence and Pieter. Clarence would bleed to death, and Pieter wouldn't likely fare any better. But if Blackfeather stands and fights, so would Durgo, and possibly two of his sons. Durgovaar probably not, though, given the prophecy. We might see something less likely -- like Pieter sneaking off with Clarence, or Berht falling into line with Durgo -- but that would just postpone the confrontation between Blackfeather and Durgovaar.

Again, epic stuff. Well worth the wait.
At the risk of sounding artsy-fartsy...

Tanks, Froggod! The current story arc still has a ways to go. I'm looking forward to finishing it so I can go back to making more random silliness. :)
