She's fast, strong, and has the birds on her side!

What do I avoid doing not to piss her off again?
Songgu Kwon 1st Nov 2013, 8:47 PM edit delete reply
Songgu Kwon
Heh, that's an easy one: DO NOT threaten her homies with sharp and pointy doom. :p
Dodom 1st Nov 2013, 9:24 PM edit delete reply
I'll try hard, but I can't promise!

This is just terrible but it took a minute or two before I realized she severed his head. ;-)

She cut off most of his sword hand and his thumb as well! How is he gonna be able to..to...Oh, his head came right off too, uh, never mind.

I wonder if he made out his will? Every early character I rolled up had the same one. (I died a lot)

"I hereby bequeath all my material possessions to the sucker standing behind me."

Or... "I hereby bequeath all my stuff to ____________." and fill the blank with the name of your backup character.

Yeah...the Party only let me get away with that once, after that the party Thief made sure all my more valuable items were safely tucked away, for 'safe keeping'

I was starting to wonder how Durgo's son would be killed by her. Almost looked like he might skate y this time...

Yes! Critical hit: target annoyed and distracted for one turn.

Didn't they disarm her? Before they started to strip her. I would think it would be a little... um... Foolish? To try to strip her when she still has her sword.
So where'd she get it?

In comic #65. You can even make out the maker's mark on the blade. ;)

Damn that sword is sharp.

She likes to keep the edge of the foible (tip to middle) of Kneeflayer scary sharp. The forte, not as sharp so it'll be more durable for parrying.

That was Berht, not Durgovaar, who lost his head, I think. There's still plenty of time for the prophecy to be fulfilled. It wouldn't even have to be during this confrontation.

Can't say he wasn't asking for that! It's either gonna end the fight or kick off something fierce. Bonus dodge points to Pieter for getting out the way.

The two lead instigators to Kill! Kill! Kill! are out of the way suddenly, so we may see a rout of the mercenaries, owing to poor morale. Durgovaar may make it through this skirmish unscathed, but I doubt he can cheat fate. One way or the other, this looks like a waste of a perfectly good condo. But it was fun to see a Grell, and an evocation.
Erador 6th Nov 2013, 3:21 PM edit delete reply
There's always a chance that Durgo misinterpreted the prophesy. :-)

It's only implied Blackfeather is the one who was prophesied to kill Durgovaar. And we only have Durgo's word that the prophecy even concerned Durgovaar's death. But it looks like a safe implication, given how much Durgo was willing to sacrifice to help defeat Blackfeather when she was in her duel with Durgovaar.

Obviously that bird wasn't a pigeon (heh heh!). Poor Berht.
Guesticus 2nd Dec 2013, 12:24 PM edit delete reply
Well, Berht _did_ say to kill the traitors, and technically speaking, he is a traitor himself (Durgo is still the leader, isn't he?)
